The Challenge

To reconstruct and enlarge this unique house originally designed in 1969 by the San Francisco Architect George Rockwise in a style reminiscent of the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie Houses.

The Solution

The house was stripped back and trebled in size to create modern luxurious accommodation with large sliding screens opening onto the Swimming Pool and landscaped courtyards. Stone fireplaces and sweeping timber-clad ceilings over double-height spaces respected the original aesthetics of the house.
