The Challenge

A detached cottage in Hampstead Garden Suburb had suffered severe subsidence from a nearby preserved oak tree .

The Solution

Working closely with specialist subcontractors and consultants, the building was re-supported on a piled raft foundation, installed without disturbing the superstructure. The ground floor and roof space accommodation was remodelled at the same time.
