The Challenge

To construct a new-build block of three flats on a wasteland site.

The Solution

Because the site had not previously been developed, a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) had to be designed to regulate surface water outflow from the new development. Brill + Owen co-ordinated this specialist design, prepared detailed drawings and administrated the Contract for this surprisingly complex design. Careful attention was paid to the setting out of the building due to steep ground levels, ensuring compliant ramped access for disabled residents was accommodated.
