Compton Avenue |
The ChallengeTo reconstruct and enlarge this unique house originally designed in 1969 by the San Francisco Architect George Rockwise, in a style reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s prairie houses. |
The SolutionThe house was stripped back and trebled in size to create a modern luxurious accommodation with large sliding screens opening onto the swimming pool and landscaped courtyards with stone fireplaces and sweeping timber clad ceilings over double height spaces. |
